Private yoga lessons are designed for you, based on your needs and goals. 

When we meet, we’ll discuss your goals for practice and any health or lifestyle issues that limit your movement or affect your energy and overall sense of well-being. Practices draw from the fullness of yoga and may include a mix of asana (physical poses), pranayama (breath work), nidra or meditation, chanting, and yoga philosophy.

We can work on:

Lessening stress, anxiety, overwhelm and creating new daily practices to feel empowered

Refining your practice, including finding new movement patterns for poses and parts of the body that challenge you

Pose goals

Creating life balance and overall wellbeing

Creating new habits to address chronic pain and injury

Creating new habits to work through life obstacles

Nidra and Meditation

Yoga Nidra is one of my favorite guided meditation practices. Not only is it deeply relaxing and transformative, it also can be adapted to meet you where you are in your meditation practice. Often practiced lying down, nidra, also known as “conscious sleep,” guides you into a deeply restful state where your body sleeps but the deeper, conscious layers of your mind are awake. From this deep meditative place, you can experience powerful shifts, releasing stress and anxiety, tapping into creativity and intuition. 

In addition to Nidra, I teach different methods of meditation and breathwork from the yoga tradition. Based on your goals, I’ll introduce a meditation practice to you that we will practice together. You can record this practice to do on your own in between our meetings. 

I offer 30 minute and 1 hour meditation sessions.
